The Maker’s Story is an online community for creative women, celebrating stories and work from across the globe. Independently published in Aotearoa, New Zealand, all stories are written and collated by founder, journalist and editor Cassie Birrer in Auckland.

A combination of online and print content, The Maker’s Story features creatives of all sorts – abstract painters, fibre artists, candle makers, textile artists, ceramic artists, graphic designers, photographers and more. By exploring the messages and stories behind creations and each artist’s journey, we celebrate what it means to be a maker.
