Our fave… ceramicists

Bulldogs, lion’s heads, and all sorts of different creatures – it’s a delight scrolling through Sasha’s work, you never know what’s going to be next!

@skazka_stranstviy

Sonya’s ceramic creations make us want to get cosy in a cabin in the woods with a hot cocoa… if only?

@marie__leman

Marie Leman from Maison de coeur handcrafts pottery pieces in Russia. When I spoke with her, she explained that her city of Saint Petersburg is one of her main sources of inspiration.

“Its beauty, atmosphere and its eclectic content has always been something both special and strange for me.”

@stcaoceramics

You might remember Steph from when I interviewed her back in January. As owner and operator of StCao Ceramics in Seattle, Steph has always loved playing with polymer clay.

“When I was studying architecture, I was heavily influenced by the simplistic and natural elements of modern Scandinavian and Japanese design,” says Steph, with this also being a major inspiration to her ceramic style.

@stadlerandco

I remember coming across Stadler + Co way back in 2017 when they made their first Instagram post. Neutral colours and simple forms combine to create handmade goodness. I can’t wait to see what they do next!
